Bread Bakers
Eucharistic bread for Sunday masses
is made by parishioners in their homes. It is provided for
both the 8am and 10am mass on a rotating basis. The coordinator
of the ministry prepares the schedule and provides instruction
and the recipe for those joining the ministry.
Receiving Eucharist in the form of bread,
blessed and broken, enriches our experience of Eucharist on
many levels.
Needs: People who are willing to bake
Eucharistic bread for the 8am or 10am mass and occasionally
for other occasions.

Church Environment
Our
sacred Space is enhanced so that it reflects the statement
in the documents of Vatican II, "the arts are directed
toward expressing in some way the infinite beauty of God in
works by human hands." Season by season, artistic elements
are varied to reflect the liturgical theme and spiritual tone,
enriching our experience of worship.
Needs: Any person interested in creating
a pleasing space for our worship; people who can perform such
tasks as sewing, cleaning, arranging flowers, carry boxes,
growing flowers, doing design work on such items as bulletin
boards, banners and programs covers.

Liturgy Committee
Members plan and implement liturgies
for ordinary time and seasonal celebrations.. The planning
committee which includes interested parishioners and staff,
meets monthly. Two retreats for the committee are held each
year which provide an opportunity for a deeper exploration
of liturgical theology, spirituality and education.
The goal of liturgy planning is to implement
the concepts in the Vatican II document, Constitution on the
Sacred Liturgy: that all the faithful should be led to full,
conscious, and active participation in the liturgical celebrations
as demanded by the very nature of the liturgy, and to which
the Christian people, a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a
holy nation, a redeemed people, have a right and obligations
by reason of their baptism.
Needs: People willing to work at bringing
to about the goals of the committee.
