St.
Patrick's Church members work together to provide at least one dinner
per month for the residents of the Noel House. The Noel House is
a women's shelter located in downtown Seattle that houses 45 women
per night as well as another 20 off site. The shelter is equipped
with a modest kitchen, bathroom and shower facilities, and storage
space. The women who live there receive dinner, clothing and other
basic hygiene supplies that have been donated to this Catholic Community
Services sponsored program.
Preparing and serving dinner on the second Saturday
of the month has become a community building activity for members
of St. Pats as well as with the women of Noel House who consistently
tell us how much they appreciate our efforts.
