The Social Justice Committee on August 21 agreed by consensus to the following: Sean Lynch, the co-chair of the committee, has sought a replacement, and he has willingly agreed to transition out of the leadership to me, Phelia Lorenzen. I will be co-chair with Nancy Miller for the coming months. We hope other parish members will help the committee grow and prosper in its mission to walk the path of Catholic Social Teachings through our many efforts to educate, change, activate, and celebrate justice in this modern world, both locally and globally. I am thrilled to co-chair with Nancy this vibrant, dedicated committee.
