This coming Sunday, October 25
After the 10 a.m. mass
In the north room of the social hall
Come hear about the "Journey or Repentance"
Parishioners, and daughter/mother Sarah and Debi Covert-Bowldes will be sharing with us stories of what they saw, learned and experienced as part of an interfaith delegation to Japan for the anniversary of the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
As Sarah and Debi wrote in their article for the Fall 2009 Roots of Justice:
We at St. Patrick's understand that a culture of peace is only as strong as our inner spirituality. Let us continue to pray, reflect, learn from, and dialogue with one another while engaging ourselves in solidarity with the peacemakers of the world. May the Spirit of Christ continue to guide us as prophetic peacemakers, individually and communally. Amen.

This Sunday, November 8, is the day to focus our thoughts on Bread for the World.
Please bring one food item to mass for our local food closet.
After mass, come share in our letter writing for our national policy as it affects world hunger.
We also will have available beautiful holiday cards to sell, which will benefit Bread for the World nonprofit directly.
